What is really odd is that the photographer yells "shoot"!
Nuts!
So here is the explanation/justification to the above training strategy.
The justification is interesting in that I don't think the photographer's intention was to be acclimated to muzzle blast or gun fire in his direction.
Here are some thoughts on the matter.
